Leading tank terminal & storage companies in Singapore

Singapore is one of the world's largest oil-and-chemical storage hubs. The set below is an unranked selection of the terminal operators, tank builders and integrity specialists working in Singapore, from the Singapore Industry Index's record.

The companies

  1. Advario Singapore

An independent chemical and oil terminal operator on Jurong Island (a Germany-based MNC), part of the Advario group. Its portfolio includes the Helios Terminal (around 500,000 m3) for liquid hydrocarbons plus dedicated chemical storage. Also the 40% JV partner in Jurong Port Tank Terminals. Formerly Oiltanking Singapore.

  2. Hiap Seng Industries

A long-established process-plant EPC and fabrication contractor for oil, gas and petrochemical clients, based at Tuas with a regional Asia-Pacific presence. Provides plant maintenance, turnaround and shutdown services; fabricates pressure vessels, heat exchangers, process modules and gas compressors; and builds onshore tank farms, terminals and gas-metering facilities. Both an EPC contractor and a fabricator, with a track record on Jurong Island and regional LNG and petrochemical facilities.

    • Tank terminal services
  3. Horizon Singapore Terminals

A Jurong Island bulk-petroleum terminal within Emirates National Oil Company's (ENOC, Dubai) storage network, historically a significant gasoline and fuel-oil storage node with pipeline connectivity to neighbouring terminals.

    • Tank terminal services
  4. Jurong Port Tank Terminals (JPTT)

A 60:40 joint venture between Jurong Port and Advario, with total capacity around 580,000 m3 for clean petroleum products and petrochemicals. Features four berths at up to 17.6 m depth accommodating tankers to 180,000 DWT, pipeline links into Jurong Island's petrochemical network, and services including product blending, additive injection and nitrogen blanketing.
