This Privacy Policy explains how Offing Media Pte. Ltd. (UEN: 201607408E) (“we”, “us”, “our”), which operates Singapore Industry Index (the “Index”) at theindustryindex.com (the “Site”), collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”).

By using the Site or providing us with personal data, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data as described in this Policy.

1. Personal data we collect

Enquiries and film requests: your name, email address, telephone number, company name, country and the contents of your message.
Member accounts: company name, contact name, work email, telephone number, business registration number (UEN), website and related account details.
Sign-in and verification: your email address, telephone number and, where you choose Google sign-in, the basic profile information Google provides; one-time codes are sent by SMS to verify your number.
Automatically collected: IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed and similar usage data, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

2. Purposes for which we use personal data

We collect, use and disclose personal data to: respond to and manage your enquiries and film requests; create and administer member accounts; operate, maintain and improve the Site and our records; where you have authorised it, route enquiries to the relevant company; send you transactional and service communications (for example account, verification and enquiry notifications); carry out analytics to understand and improve our services; protect the security and integrity of the Site and prevent fraud or misuse; and comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

You may withdraw your consent to our collection, use or disclosure of your personal data at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer (below). We will process your request within a reasonable time; note that withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide certain services to you. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal, or processing we are required or permitted to carry out under applicable law.

4. Disclosure and third-party service providers

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose personal data to third-party service providers who process it on our behalf as data intermediaries, including hosting, database, authentication, email delivery, SMS verification and analytics providers. These providers are permitted to use personal data only to provide services to us and are required to protect it. 5. Transfers outside Singapore

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Information about companies and their representatives

The Site includes records of companies compiled from publicly available sources and from information submitted by members. Such records may contain limited personal data relating to business representatives in a business context. If you are connected with a company featured on the Site and wish to request correction or removal of information relating to you, please contact us using the details below.

11. Third-party sites

The Site may link to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties, and this Policy does not apply to them.
