MRA grant Singapore — Market Readiness Assistance

The Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) grant supports Singapore SMEs expanding overseas, funding up to 70% of eligible market-entry costs, capped at S$100,000 per company per new market. For businesses new to the target market with at least 30% local shareholding. Administered by Enterprise Singapore; consolidating into EDGE in 2026.

What it funds
Overseas market promotion, overseas business development, and overseas market set-up — including market entry, in-market business partners and setting up an overseas entity.
Support level
Up to 70% of eligible costs (enhanced rate from 1 April 2026), capped at S$100,000 per company per new market.
Who’s eligible
Registered and operating in Singapore, at least 30% local shareholding, meeting the SME test, and new to the target market — no more than S$100,000 in sales there in the prior three years.
