EDG grant Singapore — Enterprise Development Grant
Heads up Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) is folding into the new EDGE grant in H2 2026. It remains open until then — Transitioning to EDGE in H2 2026 — confirm current terms.
The Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) helps Singapore companies upgrade, innovate and expand — funding consultancy, equipment and manpower across core capabilities, innovation and market access. Support is up to 50% for SMEs (up to 70% for sustainability projects), with no fixed cap. Administered by Enterprise Singapore; consolidating into EDGE in 2026.

What it funds
Projects across three pillars — Core Capabilities (business strategy, financial management, human capital), Innovation & Productivity (process redesign, automation, product development), and Market Access. Covers third-party consultancy, software and equipment, and internal manpower.
Support level
Up to 50% of qualifying costs for SMEs (up to 70% for sustainability projects). No fixed cap — each project is assessed.
Who’s eligible
Registered and operating in Singapore, at least 30% local shareholding, and financially viable to start and complete the project. The enhanced SME support rate requires the SME test.
How to apply
Scope the project (often with a consultant), then apply on the Business Grants Portal before starting. Projects are assessed on outcomes and viability.
